The main text begins with an introduction to binary maths by introducing the student to the 1s and 0s of the digital world. It then provides descriptions of digital codes, binary arithmetic and Boolean algebra, along with explanations of logic gates and families, and typical and complex logic networks. The text concludes with a general introduction to microprocessors. This material is only available to lecturers.
