Alright so now onto the review. In the first two books, you get to know the characters and a little about the story is about, which is Lily and Greyston, are two adults in 19th century Europe, where high society means everything, and there is a standard for everything. Such as for the women, marrying the right man, and marrying right into society. Well this was definitely the hope for Lily, until she met Greyston, then her world turned upside down, filled with demons, dirigibles, and demon hunters. After meeting Kelan, Greyston and Lily find out there is something special about their blood.
In this book, the story continues however, Lily is in an unexpected marriage, one without love, touch, just a matter of convenience. Or so Lily thought! Well during this book, the typical hunt and clues for finding demons are at play, however other matters are at play as well. The matter of the heart. Greyston, has someone in his life, and now Lily is conflicted over her feeling for both Greyston, and Kelan.
I loved this book, because though things are taking a turn in a direction I never foreseen, and at first I was like "NO" the more I read this book, the more I got comfortable with this. However, I am still seeking something between Greyston and Lily, call me crazy on that. Plus the lady in question that Greyston is head over heels for, something about her leaves me a little suspicious on her, not sure if it's because I wanted him and Lily to be together, or is there something more in store for her in later books???? Especially since a demon, is hiding and hasn't been seen as of yet. Hmmmmmmm interesting.
I cannot wait until the next book, this book series just leave me dying for more.
