Need a Christmas skit? Do you have limited funds, few actors and little time for rehearsal? Here are two Christmas plays that can be performed with or without props, with few rehearsals, and few speaking roles. The lines may be memorized, or read during the performance. Depending on the needs of the cast, there can be as many performers as you wish, or as few as two for one, and a handfull for the other. They can be performed with great detail and preparation, or simply as a cast standing up and reading their lines with no props at all. The Gospel is clearly spelled out, from Jesus' birth, life on earth, death on the cross, burial and resurrection. The titles of traditional Christmas songs (found in most hymn books) are scattered throughout the skits. Merry Christmas.
