Providing a reservoir of examples for 4th-year and 5th-year pupils studying for the foundation tier of the GCSE maths examinations at Key Stage 4, this book is divided into three parts. The first contains exercises on individual topics and forms the basis of a 4th-year course; the second consists of 25 revision papers which, together with specimen papers and past papers, can be used in the 5th year; and the final part consists of ten aural tests. It is not intended that the pupils work these independently - the teacher, or some other person, should read the questions to them. No more than about 20 seconds should be spent on each question, and a calculator should not be used. The answers are available in a booklet published separately.
