He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Columbia Pacific University.
He has taught utility fundamentals at 19 leading universities, including Boston University, Cornell University, Clemson University, Georgia State University, California State University, and Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Plant Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Association of Energy Engineers, and the Doctorate Association of New York Educators.
