Lead guitarist and Rhythm guitarist Sheila Brown and Mary McCormick are lovers and leaders of the band Great Big Something. And having relationship problems, so they go into counseling to work on them. Meanwhile, their band flourishes, even as bassist Rhonda Polansky and drummer Claudia Weinburg break up in the middle of a tour, cause Sheila, Mary, and the band's keyboardist Martha Geiger to scramble to find a replacement.
