This series offers a combination of resources and assessment material designed to cater for the complete ability range studying geography in the first three years of secondary school. The series serves the least able and the most able pupils by providing separate sets of questions in the form of copymaster worksheets for the two ability groups, both linked to a common bank of resources. There is one resource book for each year group, and each book contains 30 double-page units comprising a varied collection of visual resources such as photographs, maps, cartoons, sketches, and diagrams. The text is confined to extended explanatory captions only. Each unit develops one key idea which is explored through a concluding core exercise. All three resource books explore the same six themes at an increasing level of complexity from Book 1 to Book 3, and in contexts ranging from local in Book 1 to global in Book 3. Each book also contains teacher's notes.
