This volume continues the description of the important class of trinuclear organoosmium compounds. It includes Os3-carbonyl compounds (except Os3(CO)12), hydridocarbonyls, carbonyl compounds with additional halogens or CN, with O-, S-, Se-, or Te-bonded ligands. Several of the compounds dealt with, such as (-H)2Os3(CO)10, H(-H)Os3(CO)11, H2Os3(CO)12, Os3(CO)9(-CO)(3-S), Os3(CO)10(NCCH3)2, and Os3(CO)11NCCH3, are very important for the synthesis of higher clusters. Easy and rapid access to the information on the great variety of species and their properties is facilitated by the use of indices.
