Born in Opelika, Alabama, Dwight Morgan Jr. graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in building construction. He has been in the commercial construction industry for 48 years and worked on projects in Saudi Arabia, San Antonio, Chicago, and Atlanta. He owns a commercial construction company in the metro Atlanta area. He and his wife, Patti, have two adult sons.When not building stuff or writing, he enjoys TexMex, is slightly obsessed with exercise, and is learning to paint portraits.
