Linda F. Petil-Richardson migrated to the United States from the Philippines. Like many other immigrants, she struggled adjusting to a new life, juggling to take care of her family and going to school while her military husband was deployed. She has three children- two daughters and one son. One daughter is developmentally disabled with autism and health problems. Despite her hardships, Linda was able to get three college degrees: Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration majoring in banking and finance, nursing, and liberal studies. In her free time, she likes to garden, read books, write, and go camping. She is an author of three books: The Mystery of A Lost Kingdom, a children's fantasy book written to waive her English course at The Regents of The University of The State of New York; The Diary of The Isolated, a fantasy/mystery fiction book based on her daughter's struggle with autism, and The Manuscript: A Ghost Story. Linda is a former nurse and social worker; she currently lives with her husband and their disabled child in Temecula, California.
