Rebecca Schier-Akamelu is an American author who writes horror novels and non-fiction, which is usually much more positive. She loves the horror genre for all the dark thoughts it makes us confront and the way it changes people--for better or for worse. Her work has been published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul anthology and her short story "From One to the Next" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is a member of the Horror Writers Association, and encourages her husband, three children, and dog to get excited every time spooky season comes around. Negative Images is her debut novel.
