Kat Thurston has a Master’s in English Literature from Oxford University, a Guinness World Record for paragliding and holds a private pilot’s licence. After her divorce, she set her heart on a new life as a bush pilot in Africa but serendipity led her to Las Vegas. When not writing, she can be found rock climbing and backcountry skiing, passions she shares with her three inspiring children.
