Born and raised in Canada, Inga M. Nelson has lived in five of its ten provinces, mostly thanks to her father being a pilot in the RCAF. And yes, she speaks French-un peu. She grew up with three mechanics in the household and continually listened to them discuss how to jury-rig this, that, and the other thing to keep whatever it was working, especially when funds were sparse for new things.
Since retiring from her career as a designated Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with behavioural studies, Inga has transitioned from writing HR articles to writing fiction. Being a huge fan of science fiction, fantasy, and having a penchant for philosophy plus STEM (likely due to the mechanics in her household), it's no wonder she enjoys researching and writing science fiction. Inga lives near the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Alberta, with her husband, Allan, and their cat, Midnight. Noetic Marj Odyssey is her first book.
