I was born into an Italian American family in Manhattan, New York. I am familiar with many different cultural standards. I love traveling, dancing, music, and writing. I have great wisdom, perception, and determination for life. Influences and life experiences with adventures make me the person and full-fledged woman I am today. While growing up I will always say, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn had the biggest impact on me growing up as a bookish little girl in New York City." But "Because I am a human being of the baby boomer generation, I must say, "The novel written by Margaret Mitchell, Gone with the Wind also had a significant impact on my childhood." After reading the book I was inspired to become an author. Lo and behold I did just that too. I use Gilda (Pen Name) for my writing and anticipate adding titles to my writing library further.
