David Meece has held multiple positions in IT and Cybersecurity. He has over 10 years of experience in performing Identify Access Management, Instruction Detection, Cybersecurity Awareness, and Vulnerability research. He holds a Master's of Science degree in Information System Management at Union College in Kentucky and has a wide array of skills ranging from teaching Security + classes to performing virus removal. He is an active member and contributor in WiCyS, Bsides, and many other groups within the Cybersecurity community. He pivoted careers and broke into cybersecurity and helping others know that they can break in too is a focal point for volunteering for David. In downtime he enjoys watching movies, playing video games, traveling, and spending time with his wife and friends. He's always searching for networking opportunities on LinkedIn to connect with more cybersecurity professionals.
