Amy grew up in Buffalo, New York, and has always had a gift for communicating with children. Whether helping them through her years of work as a legal advocate for children in Michigan, or with her own four children, Amy has always loved to help young people find their strengths in fun and creative ways. Writing and illustrating a book with her children, who have been her biggest support, has fulfilled a lifelong dream to share her love of creative teaching with not only her own kids, but with children everywhere.
