J. G. Buys is a young author and student originally from Gauteng, South Africa. She wrote her debut novel, An Unkindness of Ravens, at the age of seventeen and subsequently published it in 2023 at the age of eighteen. She savours the support of her family and friends and claims it is one of the many things that keep her motivated to reach her dreams. There are four expected books in the An Unkindness of Ravens series, all set to release within a year from each other. Her greatest dream is to become a full-time author, writing while she travels around the globe and sharing her stories with the world while making her younger self proud.
