What can I say, I was born a moonchild, not only a Cancer but also during a full moon. They say, "It makes me a unique and curious soul whose mind is always out of this world."Growing up during the space age, science fiction, especially movies and books, captivated me. I remember watching The Jetsons' cartoon and TV series like Star Trek and Lost in Space, movies like Star Wars, Alien, Mad Max, Moonraker, Blade Runner, War Games, Dune, The Terminator, Back to the Future, Planet of the Apes, Interstellar, The Martian and so, so many more. They inspired all kinds of questions about the universe and the possibilities of what could be out there. The idea of civilizations existing on other planets and what life would be like for them intrigued me.As a Certified Professional Photographer, I'm enthralled by astrophotography and can't get enough of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope pictures. Images of the II ZW 96 galaxies twisting and melding into each other, the light of a new star being born in the shape reminiscent of an hourglass, to the Pillars of Creation, are just a few of the awe-inspiring pictures sent back to us mere earthlings. The vastness of space boggles my mind and inspires me to think about who all might be out there.Combine always having my head in the stars with the love of a good romance book and I have found myself irresistibly drawn to writing stories about space adventures. The best kind of alpha alien male is one who's met his match with an even stronger-willed, independent female from Earth. I hope to craft stories that inspire the reader to believe in the possibilities of the universe. I think the best stories are about people succeeding against all odds.
