Elvira Gonzalez is an athlete, professional coach, writer, activist, and entrepreneur. She formerly coached Track & Field at the University of Pennsylvania, privately trained a two-time Olympic hurdler, and coaches at The Armory, the premier indoor track & field in America in New York City. Elvira qualified for the NCAA National Championship in Track & Field in 2011 and to the 2021 USA Triathlon National Championships as an athlete herself. In 2013, Elvira joined The New York Writers Workshop taught by Charles Salzberg. In 2018, she launched Writers Inkubator, an accelerator and online program devoted to helping writers develop their literary projects from brainstorming to book or film launches. In her spare time, Elvira trains for triathlons, enjoys hosting vegan potlucks, and volunteers as a member of the leadership committee for When We Band Together, a non-profit that supports displaced refugees from around the world.
