Helen Karimi is a medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine. She holds an MS in surgical neurophysiology from the University of Connecticut and obtained her BS in neuroscience and MA in molecular biology and biochemistry from Wesleyan University. She has recently co-founded Neuroplex Industries, Inc., a company whose mission is to promote neurosurgical safety. She enjoys teaching science to children, baking, and traveling, and she is passionate about community mental health issues.
