Ivan Salgado received the Biomedical Engineering Degree from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico City, Mexico, in 2009, the master’s degree in automatic control from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México, Mexico City, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in computer sciences from Centro de Investigación en Computación-IPN. His current research interests include the design, control, and optimization of robotic systems and adaptive control. His research activities include teaching experience in the bachelor’s and postgraduate courses such as linear and nonlinear control, digital systems, circuit analysis, digital signal and image processing at UPIBI-IPN and CIDETEC-IPN. Iván Salgado has published more than 20 articles in JCR journals and more than 30 articles in national and international conferences in automatic control, robotic systems, and biomedical engineering.
