Born in 1981 in Izmir, Deniz Uzunoğlu is a Turkish author and art director with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Marmara. After a brief period working for Ernst and Young, she began a career as a scriptwriter and art director and started working for MARTI VISUAL ARTS. She had worked in more than twenty 3D animated TV series aimed at children's education, some of which won international awards at festivals like MIPCOM, MIPTV, and Golden Orange. She developed websites for various institutions and organizations, worked on mobile game production for Android and iPhone systems, created cartoon designs for children's clothing, and produced 3D animations for advertisements and social responsibility projects. She has a six-year-old son, ten cats, and two dogs, and she is living with her family in Izmir.
