His articles averaged 6 million page views a year across a three-year time period. After selling his website, he began writing novels. His books reflect his longtime experience in the esports industry and his love of fantasy and mecha anime. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2016 and doubles as a high school water polo coach in the California Bay Area.
