Harry wrote this story in 2000, his inspiration being the strange experience he had in the Op-Shop, and later imagining the previous life of the items he was holding. In retirement, Harry enjoyed working in his garage on his wood lathe. He made many new items, but as an avid recycler, his special love was giving a new life to old or discarded objects. Harry transformed many beautiful wooden items, which his family treasures to this day.
