Trained in Internal Medicine and Radiology in Ireland and completed subspecialty fellowships in Dublin, Cambridge and London. Holds an academic appointment as Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Deakin University School of Medicine and has published widely with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Pioneered novel interventional techniques such as the BART technique for TIPS reduction and the adaptation of neurovascular devices for the treatment of complex visceral artery aneurysms.
