Winston Chong is an interventional neuroradiologist at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne, Australia. He is the Emeritus Director of Interventional Neuroradiology and past unit head of Neuroimaging at Monash Health. He also served terms as president of the Asian Australasian Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (AAFITN) and Australian and New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology (ANZSNR). Winston was responsible for introducing and implementing endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms in Monash Medical Centre, as well as implementing acute stroke treatment with mechanical thrombectomy in the same institution, during the periods when both of these treatments were in their early stages of development. Presently, Winston holds academic appointments at Monash University and the University of Melbourne, as well as Macquarie University in Sydney.
