April Bush is a mother, wife, and educator. She graduated from Albany State University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has taught for thirteen years and is currently an instructional coach. April believes representation in children's books is imperative for many reasons. One is the enjoyment and interaction when reading with family. Another is her students, as she aims to motivate and inspire them to read. April is married and has two awesome children.
