Jacintha is a licensed counselor in the New York City metro area and has spent over a decade servicing students with exceptional needs. She has earned multiple degrees in counseling and academic leadership. Jacintha is also an author and CEO of Jane MG Books, a children's book publishing company striving to increase the love of reading in all children while building empathy and compassion for friends with special needs. In 2022, Jacintha co-wrote Words for Sale with her then four year old son, Jamerson R. Lewin. Words for Sale is children's book that tells the tale of a little boy who has a speech and language impairment who uses cooking as a form of therapy. Jacintha is a Brooklyn native with deep cultural roots from St. Lucia W.I. She resides in New York City with her husband, two exceptional sons, and Yorkie Brooklyn.
