Andrea Realpe combines her experience as a professional artist and her degree in psychology to author, and illustrate, children's books that inspire empathy, self-acceptance, and emotional awareness. Andrea's art is on display worldwide in private and corporate collections and has been featured on the Rachel Ray Show and People.com. Her work was also used in the Parent Resource Book for Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools. When she isn't writing, Andrea loves spending time with her husband and son, practicing yoga, and drinking tea. She enjoys supporting fundraisers such as Southern Arizona Book Heroes, Hindie's Libraries, Amy's Art Cart Children's Hospital New Orleans, Explorers Against Extinction, Global Conservation Force, and other non-profit organizations.
