C. K. McAdam is a historical fiction and women's fiction author. In college, she had the opportunity to study literature, history, and creative writing. She holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Humanities. The intersection of literature, history, art, and architecture has always inspired and informed her research and writing. C. K. has dappled in different genres - from playwriting to screenplay writing to poetry. However, historical fiction is her preferred genre in both reading and writing. Her debut novel No Man's Land was inspired by her family's history, her own upbringing, and the history of Cold War East Germany. Her second novel The Seamstress of Auschwitz is inspired by true events and touches on a subject that is dear to her heart.She teaches Holocaust literature and Holocaust film at a university in Texas and has written articles and book chapters on the subject.When she's not writing, C. K. loves spending time with family, friends, and corgi Merlin, playing pickleball, reading, hiking, and traveling.
