Erin Hemenway was raised backstage at the MGM Grand showcase, Hello Hollywood, Hello. She was sewing sequins onto, ahem... costumes, by age four. She lived a wild and varied childhood which included riding for the Historic Pony Express and touring Oklahoma! with her high school in Europe. ​She settled down in the Pacific Northwest where she began making racing documentaries and independent adventure films. With two kids and a breast cancer diagnosis, Erin transitioned into a full-time writer to keep her sanity during chemotherapy. She has written three books and is currently navigating the Wild West of publishing her work. She lives in the Inland Empire with her family and their flat-coated retriever named Ellie.
