Shirley J. Christenson was born in rural Wisconsin. She was an elementary school teacher and librarian and now makes her home in Minnesota-even in the winter months. All year round she enjoys reading, quilting, and playing bridge. She has written family stories for magazines and the St. Paul Pioneer Press "Sunday Bulletin Board" section. This is her second book.
