Greg Maher was born and grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He moved to rural N.S. early in his married life. He is now retired and finds the time to commune with nature and God's Word. That time has also allowed him to return to the passion of his youth and that is writing. His writing reflects his upbringing, his faith, and the love he has and receives from God and family. His first book, a book of poetry to soothe the soul, "I Sat Down With My Father" was published by Word Alive Press in 2022. This is his first novel.
