Chantal Adolphe worked on the Transcontinental passenger train, in Canada, for a decade. Meeting people from all over the world helped to shape her as a person and her interest in travel.

Chantal is a bilingual Métis writer who has written many short travel stories and poems, all of which are based on true events. Her novel, Charlie, was published online, under a pseudonym, at www.Inkitt.com.

With many more travel stories to tell, her current book, Lucie and Lu's Adventures: Travelling in Canada and Australia, is part of a planned series, which she hopes to follow up with Lucie and Lu's Adventures: More Travelling and Shenanigans. She also plans to write a book of travel stories for adults.

Chantal Adolphe obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba and her UX Design diploma from the digital learning institute BrainStation.

She currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, with her common-law partner, with whom her Lucie and Lu characters and stories are based.
