Abelia Sumpter is the author of the Corvus Duology (Lady of the Colum & Mistress of the Imnicus). Growing up, she wanted to work in film and would make movies with her siblings and friends. In high school, she wrote screenplays and short stories. She decided to become a nurse after her younger brother passed away, but a year into the profession, she left nursing and currently works in marketing. She writes every spare chance she gets. Currently, she lives in Ohio with her husband and has a vision board the size of a novel.
