Roger Dean Anderson (1963), born and raised in New Zealand, was brought up in the Reformed Churches of New Zealand. After completing university studies in both music and classical languages and literature, he was sent to Canada by his home church for theological study (Hamilton, Ont.). Upon completion of this study (MDiv.), he served 12 months in New Zealand as vicar and was then sent to the Netherlands for further study. In 1996 he graduated ThD from the Theological University of the Reformed Churches (liberated) in Kampen. From 1996 to 2004, Anderson pastored the Reformed churches (liberated) of Valkenburg (ZH) and Katwijk of the GKv. From June 2004 to April 2012 he pastored the church at Katwijk. Since April 2012 he has been pastoring the Free Reformed Church of Rockingham, Western Australia. He has published regularly, not only on theological topics, but also on 17th and 18th century French harpsichords and their music.
