Charlotte Elizabeth Anderson came up with the idea for Fluff's adventure during an imagination journey with Kevin Maarten Haywood. Haywood immediately saw the potential in Fluff's story and turned it into a book. Haywood lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with his common-law and Indigenous business partner Lillian (Kitty) Anderson. Charlotte is a grandchild to the couple who resides in the same city with her parents Whitney and Matthew Anderson, her younger sister Emily, and her dog Lucy. Haywood is the founder and CEO for Evolving Social Resources Incorporated and has a Bachelor of Arts in Justice and Law Enforcement, and a Bachelor of Social Work. Kevin and his partner Lillian are both Registered Social Workers who conduct clinical practice in the field of mental health therapy/counselling.
