Carl Harris Shuman is a semi-retired employment lawyer and the former president of his synagogue. He is the author of Max Builds a Time Machine and Max and Emma Cross the Red Sea. In addition to writing novels, he enjoys writing poetry that remains unpublished. His hobbies also include Jewish genealogical research, gardening, participating in local theater productions, and crafting. He is the proud parent of three children and a loving grandparent to his two grandchildren. He lives in Harrisburg, PA with his wife.
