Melanie is Head of the School of Environmental and Interdisciplinary Sciences in the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of the West of England, Bristol and lectures in Environmental Health. Her research interests include assessment of environment and health risks and evaluation of interventions. Other interests are the development and training for capability in the public health field for health protection.
