Mimi is a recent resident of Music Row in Nashville, TN. She is a grandmother of three, mother of two, and wife of one. From 1994 until 2014, she lived and taught Centered Riding at their horse farm in Franklin.20 years earlier, Mimi and her family lived in New York just outside of Manhattan. At that time, she danced in a company named Potpourri and taught dance, frequently wrote poems and stories, and enjoyed family life with her husband Sokrates and their two girls, Kate and Natasha.20 years before that, Mimi and Sok married, then graduated from the University of Illinois, and moved to California. Life around San Francisco was a wonderful place for newlyweds to live. Before college and marriage, Mimi lived in rural Illinois. She grew up in a family where classical music played on the radio all day. Her mother was a concert pianist and all 'round artist; her father amused himself after work with rare plantings and architectural drawing. Their home was in horse country. Her life is a continuing spiral of learning to see beauty and share it.
