Eddie Winkley Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He later moved to Houston, Texas where he would go on to graduate high school. He served in both the Air Force and Air National Guard prior to working for the federal government and earning a Bachelors of Arts degree from American Military University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
