Hye-Kyung Kang, MA, MSW, PhD, is an associate professor, MSW program director, and Chair of the Social Work Department at Seattle University. Her scholarship, teaching, and practice focus on cultural citizenship, postcolonial social work practice, Asian American immigrant communities, immigrant mental and social health, and social justice focused social work education.
