Kelen Tamurian is a high school student living in Washington state and an aspiring activist for human rights. She has struggled with her mental health and for most of her life felt that she wasn't good enough. Over the last year, she has found her writing style and she felt called to share the story of Hope, a young teenage girl in high school who doesn't feel good enough in any facet of her life. Kelen is so passionate about sharing this story because it is something that we can all relate to at a certain time in our lives, or maybe even to this current time in our lives. Feeling like you are not good enough is so isolating and makes it hard to shine your radiant light on the world and show up as who you truly are. Through her book, SIMPLY Not ENOUGH, Kelen is demonstrating that this feeling is so universal and showing you that you are not alone. Kelen created a community called Simply Enough that works to empower its members to show up as their highest selves who understand the value of their presence and the importance of their worth. Through sharing personal experiences, exploring the topics of her book, "Simply NOT Enough," and building a community of women that lift each other up and support each other in times of need, Simply Enough strives to change the way women show up in the world. Simply Enough will provide you with the tools you need to fully begin to accept yourself as you are. You will learn about mediation, journaling, body-acceptance/body-neutrality. You will learn how to connect to your inner wisdom and how to heal your past traumas, and most importantly you will learn to respect your personal journey without judgment for what it looks like compared to the community members around you. You will connect with your authentic self. You can find more information about this community, how to join, and a little bit more information about Kelen on her website, kelentamurian.com.
