Gabriella R. Tallmadge is a Latinx writer and educator from San Diego, California. She holds degrees in English, Creative Writing, and Counseling. She is certified in Mental Health Recovery and Trauma-Informed Care by San Diego State University. Gabriella's poetry has received awards from the Idyllwild Arts Writers Week, the Hedgebrook Writer in Residence Program, the Community of Writers Workshop, the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and Sewanee Writers' Conference.
