A. Iwasa was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, but grew up on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio and began contributing to and making zines in the 1990s. His work has been published by South Chicago Anarchist Black Cross, Anarchist History Nerd Brigade, and Little Black Cart.
