Cassandra and Chris Spellman each dreamed of being published authors, but didn't know that about each other until after they were married. Cassandra's favorite activities (besides writing) include clogging and reading books to her children. Chris's fascination with dystopian political regimes may harken back to his days studying philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. The couple makes their home in upstate New York.
