Grandmother Mary is one of four children, she grows up Grandmother Mary is the first of four children. She grew up in the mountains of Colorado in the 1950s and always took care of her family and siblings as her parents worked on the land. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of the family made her feel fulfilled and useful. Grandma Maria is creative and likes to vary her recipes and find new ones, so she prepares local recipes but also makes special meals of her own creation as well as traditional dishes from cultures all over the world. She uses all the new equipment and utensils on the market but also likes to experiment with different new ingredients. Her cooking is varied and always different. The grandchildren love to taste her new recipes, and the neighbors are grateful to her for this. In the lunch and dinner meals at her home, it's always party time! Grandma Maria has experienced financial hardship in her family in the past and knows what it is like not to have a hot dish to eat, so today many of her tasty creations are a great gift for the homeless in her area.
