Kate Ashbrook started her career as an Air Force linguist at the National Security Agency and went on to become a technical writer. When she's not writing, you can find her learning a new language, volunteering in the community, or planning her next getaway to Pacific Grove where she enjoys feeding her coffee and speculative fiction addiction at Bookworks Cafe.
