Midge first started writing verse at school and has continued at various times throughout her life. Having worked in a nursery school, the children's curiosity and enthusiasm inspired her to use the medium of verse to tell her stories. She is a passionate gardener who cherishes nature and the wildlife to be found close to us all in both town and countryside.
