James was converted during a revival meeting on June 7, 1964 in Dungannon, Virginia. He was baptized on June 14th and preached his first sermon on June 21st. James received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible from Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee and a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Theology from Bob Jones University in Greeneville, South Carolina. James is the editor of the King James Bible for Today, New Testament (KJBT).
